Divine Victorian 15 Carat Gold And Enamel Spaniel Brooch C 1880

A rare Victorian fifteen carat gold and enamel brooch, oval shape depicting in enamel a fine quality and life-like Springer Spaniel standing in a field. Original gold pin and C-clasp and a loop for attaching a safety chain. Laser tested and guaranteed to be 15 carat gold, a common Victorian gold standard. The piece has been stamped on the reverse with the gold standard, but the numbers aren’t legible. A fine quality and pleasing piece, ready to be worn.
 
Condition: In lovely antique condition with no loss to the enamel, pin, hinge and clasp in good order.
