Charming Edwardian Novelty Miniature Silver Tea Set & Tray Saunders & Shepherd Antique

A fine quality miniature English silver four piece tea set comprising teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and tray. Possibly made for a very high end doll''s house or as a novelty amusement to entertain friends on social evenings. Superb quality, the teapot cover is hinged and all three vessels are gilded inside. The tray is silver framed with a small disc of oak that clicks into place. All pieces fully hallmarked for 1905, makers Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, the tray assayed in Birmingham and the others in Chester.
 
The teapot measures 2.9cm (1 1/8'') high, 4.5cm (1 3/4'') spout to handle and 2.3cm (7/8'') wide. The sugar and creamer are both 2cm (3/4'') high and the tray is 7cm (2 3/4'') wide.
 
In excellent condition with no damage, repair, dings or other issues and minimal handling wear.
