In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It has an easel back and the inside board is covered in a blue water silk.

It is clearly hallmarked for Deakin and Francis, Birmingham 1902.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and the easel back is in good solid order. There is some wear to the silk lining and the covering on the back of the frame but it still displays well. There are some light surface marks, minor scratches and some small dinks around the frame and a couple of small losses on the edges but nothing too detrimental given its age. The silver has been gently cleaned and polished and the frame is ready for use.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
