A beautiful shining 19th century ring in slightly rosy gold set with a deep red garnet in a lovely crown-shaped mount. Very regal!

SIZE: S and a half (UK), 9 and a quarter (US). The band is 4mm wide and the gem is approximately 10 x 7mm.

WEIGHT: 3.1g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, garnet.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Chester 1890 (although the date letters for 1890 and 1825 are almost identical so it's possible it's actually Georgian, c.1825).

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with normal minor surface wear.

ERA: Victorian 1890/Georgian 1825.
