A handsome Victorian coal scuttle in mahogany, fitted with its original galvanised metal liner and brass-handled scoop.

The cabinet-style design features a hinged fall-front door with brass pull handle, raised on small castors for easy movement. Decorative panelled sides and a moulded top with gallery back add elegance to this practical yet stylish piece.

Very Good antique condition overall.

The mahogany shows a warm polished patina with some light age-related wear.

The original metal liner has signs of use but remains sturdy. The brass fittings and handle have a natural aged tone. Supplied with the original coal scoop.

This is both a practical and decorative fireside accessory, ideal for use in a traditional interior or as a collector’s display piece.
