William & Mary Seaweed Marquetry Chest of Drawers

Description

A resplendent William & Mary walnut and fruitwood seaweed marquetry chest of drawers. Crossbanded top with inlaid oval band and scrolling seaweed marquetry with central mythical bird. Two short and three long drawers below, with further seaweed marquetry and fitted with brass drop handles. The veneered sides also inlaid with arched marquetry panels. Raised on bun feet.
