Description

Dainty little Victorian earrings with coral dangles hand carved into the shape of elongated amphorae.

SIZE: 4cm total drop from the top of the ear wire, the coral pendants are approx 2.5 x 0.6cm.

WEIGHT: 2.4g.

MATERIALS: Coral, gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found; the earring wires test as at least nine-carat (375) gold.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition. The little loop at the top of one coral drop has been replaced and is a little darker. The coral has some unique natural imperfections, as you'd expect, but the drops are free of chips or cracks, it's amazing they've survived intact all these years!

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
