This is a large 18th century Italian Renaissance Cassetta gilt wood frame in really good condition dating from around 1750.

The frame is carved wood and gilt on wood in very nice order overall.

A very substantial heavy frame measuring 100 cms by 126 cms overall.

The aperture is 69 cms by 95 cms and the rebate at the back for the painting measures 73 cms by 99 cms.
