Rare Pair Art And Crafts Brass & Marble Candle Sticks C1880

Technical Description
 
A superb and very rare pair of Art and Crafts candle sticks dating to c1880.
 
They have ornate brass sconce and drip pans with central marble hard stone blade knops. The main columns below have been decorated with four different cast beetles above marble bases upon three brass feet.
 
Exceptional examples which you will not find elsewhere. From a private family collection.

Condition
 
Excellent working condition. One of the bases has a thin hairline as shown but is contained with the crass foot and is 100% stable. We have left the candle sticks with the natural patina collection over the last 150 years but can be cleaned if desired.
