An Edwardian oak cased mantel clock. A four glass design with bevelled glass panels. A silvered dial with strike/silent and slow/fast dials to the top. Roman numerals to the chapter ring and signed by retailers ''FRANKLIN HARE & GOODLAND LTD TAUNTON'. A high quality ting-tang, quarter striking mechanism of 8-day duration. A platform escapement visible through the top panel. Circa. 1910.
