Antique Uzbek silk ikat coat, known as 'chapan'.

Circa 1880.

This gentleman's coat in silk & cotton ikat design, originates from the Bukhara region, this is a quilted & padded winter coat lined with Russian cotton printed with a stripe design.

The condition is excellent with some signs of use and a few historic small stains.
