Exceptional Quality Pair Of Sevres Hand Painted French 19th Century Portrait Plates Of Louis XV & Mdme. Lukinska

An exceptional quality pair of fabulous fine quality French Sévres, 19th century portrait plates – one each of Louis XV & Mdme Lukinska. Each plate decorated in heavy raised gilding of leaves, branches & berries – horns & sceptres & Fleur de lis over a cobalt blue background outer border – having a gilt crown on the top of each plate and the names of “Louis XV” & “Lukinska” on the bottom of each plate. The inner borders also in heavy gilding with wreaths and swags. Both portraits hand painted and signed by the artist. Each plate marked with underglaze Sévres cartouche mark and overglaze Louis Phillippe Sévres period mark along with the Chateau mark that they were meant for. I am happy to split them at £475 each.
Each plate measures: 24.2 cm in diameter.
Both in Excellent condition with no repairs or wear to the gilding.
