Antique Silver Milk Jug

1920 - 1940
Description

A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small squat shape with an elegant scrolling handle, wavy rim and three feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 72g.

It is clearly hallmarked for E.Hill, Birmingham, 1932.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and signs of use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 3" (8cm)

Width : 2 3/4" (7cm)

Length inc Handle : 4 3/4" (12cm)
