Description

An early Victorian Mahogany framed chaise longue and dating from around 1850. This chaise longue has a deep padded and button back with a carved support to the end of the back rest. The tub end is carved to the front which goes all the way down to form the cabriole leg, which has a carved foot and castor. The legs to the other end are the same. It has a serpentine shaped seat with a moulded rail under. The material is velvet and is in very good condition as are the springs.
