Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated these Blanc De Chine Porcelain Figures to the 19th Century.
The modelling follows German Rococo pastoral types, here with workshop simplifications typical of the later 19th century. Underside with glazed interiors and central venting; to the boy’s base a sketchy underglaze cobalt stroke.
Collectible for interior display: the clean white surfaces and substantial mass give strong presence, and matched pairs of harvesters remain an established collecting niche.

Condition:
Both baskets lacking their arched handles; minor chips to leaves on the girl; the boy’s pole with a shortened tip; kiln hairline from the vent inside the boy’s base. No other visible restoration.
