Goodfellow, Wadebridge, a retailer of the period.The case is crafted in mahogany with a swan-neck pediment, glazed door to the dial, and a long trunk door revealing the brass pendulum and weights. The brass dial is richly engraved with Roman numerals and decorative spandrels.The 8-day weight-driven movement strikes the hours with a clear, resonant chime, recently fully serviced and in excellent working order.The clock is offered in very good condition throughout, with a fully functioning mechanism and excellent tone.
