A Fine Silver Filigree Butterfly Brooch of Exceptional Quality

This superb silver filigree butterfly brooch dates to circa 1930 and its most likely origin is Italy or Malta where these countries are renowned for very fine handmade silver filigree jewellery and objects.

This brooch, in our opinion, displays exceptionally fine workmanship and very good detailing in its decoration.

On the reverse, there is a hinged pin which is in good working order and just below the pin, the brooch is stamped 925 for sterling quality silver.
