A superb Georgian mahogany domed box; the domed lid veneered in well figured mahogany and inlaid with feather banding and barber''s pole strininging and retaining its original firegilded handle; the sides veneered in flame mahogany and crossbanded in mahogany and feather banding; the plinth base with a carved moulding of oak leaves.
