Antique Victorian locket, the locket is crafted in 9ct back and front rose gold, a true warm red gold in colour, with fine engraving to the front and reverse, the exquisitely engraved front holds a clear cartouche with flowers -for get me nots - and scrolls to both sides, (double fronted) , the locket dates around late 1890s, measures 34mm with bale x 25.5 mm, the locket is in very good condition, no dents, splits or repairs, with only light signs of use, still has it''s heart shape frame and window, marked 9ct back and front and tests 9ct gold back and front, the weight is a good 5.2 grams, super quality locket, any discolouration is camera glare, comes in a luxury box.
