Signed watercolour showing a view of a wood mounted in a simple gilt frame with mount and signed by the French artist Pierre Hennebelle.

Pierre Hennebelle was a French painter and jazz pianist born in Croix, Nord, on 1 August, 1926, and died on 17 August 2013, in Wasquehal.

He was one of the leading figures in the Roubaix group alongside Jean Roulland, Eugène Dodeigne, Eugène Leroy, Paul Hémery, Arthur Van Hecke, Jacky Dodin, and Marc Ronet. He was also an active member of L'Atelier de la Monnaie in Lille, alongside Roger Frezin, Pierre Olivier, Lyse Oudoire, Jean-Pierre Dutour, Claude Vallois, Jean Brisy, and Jean Parsy.

He was well exhibited and has collections in various museums.
