A beautifully constructed Edwardian brooch with an elegant endless knot design surrounding a central purple garnet. The reeded body of the brooch, nice and crisply detailed, is a slightly rosy nine-carat gold with yellow gold cross details.

SIZE: 4 x 1.5cm.

WEIGHT: 2.4g.

MATERIALS: 375 nine-carat gold, garnet.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT.

CONDITION: The piece is in excellent antique condition; the garnet is slightly depressed into its mount but firmly fixed in place and it's not noticeable when the brooch is worn.

ERA: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
