A vast and imposing late Victorian wall mirror, a stunning piece of the highest quality.
This magnificent mirror would have graced the grand homes of the late Victorian era and beyond. Crafted from mahogany, its fluted frame highlights the natural beauty of the finish, complemented by a classic cornice at the top. The mirror boasts a rich, dark-stained patina, typical of mahogany furniture from this period.
There are minor surface marks that are barely noticeable. At the bottom left and right sides, there is evidence that additional wood may have been removed at some point, though this does not detract from its presence.
The glass is original, thick, and bevelled, with the occasional charming imperfections that come with age. A small surface scratch is visible towards the top right, but it is not deep. Overall, the glass is in very good condition for its age, well-preserved, and full of character.

...ck features its original solid pine panel, and the mirror is secured by four large, original brass plates.

This will cost us between £60-80 to deliver, so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
