Regency Rosewood Document or Collector's Box in Beautiful Original Condition.

Description

Regency rosewood collector's or jewellery box c 1830 and in superb original condition. It's 27 cm wide and 19 cm deep.

The brass inlay is simply stunning and in in excellent order with nothing missing.

The top and the front both have this brass inlay, and all round the rest of the box is rosewood, all in undamaged condition.

Inside the lid is lined in plush blue silk to which there is some wear, but it's completely original and so we have left it.

The tray lifts out to reveal the bottom section is lined with blue paper, again there is some wear but we have left it for authenticity.

This beautiful box could be used for jewellery or maybe to store some sort of collection.
