A James I carved oak wainscot armchair; the top rail carved with nulling above a panelled base inlaid to the centre with a star and having an applied roundel in each corner ; flanked by down scrolling arms and having its original wooden seat; raised on turned legs united by stretchers. Retaining a good colour and patination.
