This rare antique side table dates from the 1920s–30s and is crafted from solid oak with a rich medium-brown finish. Featuring a classic gate leg design, the drop leaf can be folded down for compact storage or raised to create a spacious round tabletop, perfect for use as a coffee table, side table, or games table.
This is a very well made piece of furniture of top quality materials and craftsmanship.
The table stands on beautifully turned legs connected by chamfered stretchers and is accented with an oval centre medallion that adds both stability and charm. Likely an English Jacobean Revival piece, it offers timeless appeal with a touch of rustic character.
It is in excellent structural condition with only light wear consistent with age, including a couple of small gouges on the top. This compact and versatile table is ideal for smaller living spaces, entryways, or occasional use.
