A very attractive and quality clock by the World renowned maker Winterhalder & Hoffmeir.A superb mahogany arched, pad-top case that retains it''s original French-polished finish and has a lovely aged patina. It has quarter brass fretwork to the lower half of the dial and silk backed brass vents to the sides, finishing on a shaped plinth and standing on ogee, brass feet and with a brass carrying handle to the top.The 7'' convex silver dial has black, engraved Roman numerals and outside minute track with black hands. It is encased by a convex glass and cast brass bezel.The 8 day movement strikes the quarters with a ''Ting-Tang'' double strike and the number of hours on the hour.
