Pair of Regency Derby Style Hand-Painted Porcelain Vases, c.1810–1825

A superb pair of early 19th-century porcelain vases in the Regency Derby style, finely hand-painted and richly decorated. Generously proportioned, each vase features colourful clusters of summer flowers framed within cartouches, surrounded by ornate gilded floral and scrolled borders. Additional painted sprays adorn the sides, set against a profuse gilt dotted bullseye ground.

Elegant gilt acanthus handles rise from the sides, meeting just above the pierced neck, while the vases stand on flared pedestal feet and square bases with beaded detailing. A striking example of Regency period craftsmanship and design.

Condition: Overall, excellent antique condition. One vase with a fine 1cm hairline to the inner rim, and a small chip to one base corner. Minor gilt wear consistent with age. Handles intact and secure, no restoration. Base with light wear, unmarked.

Dimensions: Height 23 cm | Width 10.5 cm
