A 19th-century Welsh oak dairy table of simple country form, compact in size and full of character.

The rectangular planked oak top is formed from four boards with rounded corners, giving it a softer outline. Beneath, a single drawer runs the length of the apron and is finished with its original wooden knob.
The whole piece is raised on slim, straight legs joined by a lower H-shaped stretcher to provide strength and stability.
A practical piece of Welsh furniture, modest in design yet highly functional, and well-proportioned for use as a side table in a hallway or as a small kitchen table in homes where space is at a premium.
