A beautiful large Edwardian pendant necklace set with twinkly purple amethysts and gleaming white seed pearls. The frame and chain are solid nine-carat gold which has a lovely slightly rosy colour.

SIZE: The pendant measures 4.7 x 2.6cm. The chain is 17 inches (c.44cm) long.

WEIGHT: 5.1g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, amethyst, pearl.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT on the back of the pendant and on the clasp.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition. All the stones are crisply faceted with no cracks, and the pearls have a lovely shining nacre.

ERA: Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
