Fantastic quality Napoleon III Marquetry inlaid eight day longcase clock having a quality bombe shaped case finely inlaid with boulle marquetry work of cut brass arabesque and enriched with finely chiselled gilt bronze mounts, cartouche shaped top with Cronus sat on globular finial, circular gilt dial decorated with scrolls, floral urns and masks, inset porcelain Roman numeral plates the trunk with ornate acanthus leaf and mask gilt mounts, moulded gilt metal paw feet having a twin train eight day movement striking on a bell with the original hands.

Slight restoration needed to ware on the case.

All clocks are serviced prior to delivery.
