A beautiful and rare antique late 19th-century ring crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a platinum illusion-set single diamond. The ring features an elegant rectangular (emerald-shaped) black onyx panel, centrally set with a sparkling eight-cut diamond (approx. 0.03ct) in a platinum mount.

A classic example of Victorian-era design, likely worn as mourning jewelry or a refined statement piece. The fine onyx measures approx. 14.5mm x 6.75mm, offering a striking contrast against the delicate brilliance of the diamond.
