A beautifully preserved antique brooch crafted in France during the mid-19th century.
The brooch features:
Twenty-four illusion-set rose-cut diamonds, approximately 0.03ct each
Three larger old mine-cut diamonds, adding visual depth and antique sparkle
A secure gold pin and sleeve catch, typical of the era
Subtle French styling and refined hand-finishing throughout
These diamonds, all hand-cut, exhibit the distinctive brilliance and irregular charm characteristic of 18th–19th-century craftsmanship. Rose and mine cuts were highly sought-after at the time, praised for their soft, romantic glow under candlelight.
