A fabulous Victorian cranberry glass brides basket by Stuart & Sons Ltd c.1890, with hot applied clear glass pincered work & rigaree, finished with an applied clear glass handle with raspberry prunt terminals, and a polished pontil. A wonderful example of fine quality Victorian cranberry glass, it is in excellent condition standing 10 ½ inches tall weighing 1.9Kg.
