This is an incredible museum-quality 17th-century Dutch Delft Blue and White Chinoiserie Charger Plate.
 
The all-original piece is decorated in the Chinese Wanli manner, with the powerful and majestic Lion of Judah in the centre, standing in front of two large architectural gate posts, surrounded by a country landscape.
 
Circa 1680-1690
 
Signed at the bottom with an X cross.
 
Other than the small section of rim loss as seen in the images, the piece is free from any previous repairs or restoration.
 
It displays fantastically in its original, as-found condition.
