This is a beautifully elegant vintage dual piano stool in the Queen Anne style, featuring classic cabriole legs, carved stretcher support, and a deep lift-up seat for practical hidden storage.
Obviously, originally a piano stool, but how fantastic would this be in your entrance hall for perching on as you do your shoes, and keeping keys, gloves, etc in.
The frame is made from rich-toned mahogany polished wood with lovely grain and a warm sheen, standing gracefully on slender curved legs with pad feet. The seat is generously upholstered in a traditional rose-pink damask fabric, adorned with a neoclassical urn and garland pattern. The textile has a gentle sheen and is finished with matching braided trim around the edge, giving the piece a refined and timeless look. It is very well made with just a unobtrusive small mark.

...or lid is supported by a brass arm, and the mechanism works smoothly. The condition overall is very good, with only minor signs of age to the woodwork and a few faint scuffs to the fabric which are visible only on close inspection.
As well as a piano stool, this piece would sit beautifully at the foot of a bed, in a hallway, or within a window bay as both a decorative accent and functional item. Its classic lines, vintage upholstery, and practical storage make it a charming addition to any traditional or eclectic interior.
This is very well preserved, the only fault is that part of the hem looks to have been reglued with it sinking a couple of millimetres to the front centre, maybe from use?
You can probably polish the wood up a little more, but there are no faults with it other than some light surface marks.
