A Grunderzeit Walnut Veneered Wardrobe c1880's . Gründerzeit – Wilhelminian style furniture 1870 to 1914. The German term Gründerzeit – often also referred to as the Gründerjahre – generally refers to the period that began with the founding of the German Empire in 1871 and ended in 1914 with the outbreak of the First World War. Is currently used with a rail to hang clothes. It is 210 cm top of pelmet and Width 114.5 cm at widest pelmet, the main piece is 105 cm width and 180 cm to top of wardrobe. A Solid piece with one small area where walnut expanded commensurate with age bottom right on straight piece and our restorer says best left.
