Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
There is a shaped gallery on the back edge and the drawers have a decorative brass trim running around the lower edges. It stands on nicely tapered legs culminating in brass and ceramic casters. A good sized desk at only 89cm wide, but still offering plenty of work space and storage with twin drawers.
