A fine George III mahogany tea table of demi-lune form, dating from the late 18th century.
The frieze is fitted with a single drawer to the front, retaining brass ring handles and original escutcheon, with a dummy drawer to the reverse for symmetry. Elegantly raised on tapering legs with boxwood line inlay, the table stands on brass castors for ease of movement. A refined and practical example of Georgian craftsmanship.
