Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated these Minton Porcelain Putti Candlesticks to the 19th Century.
Clean white glaze; early Minton facial modelling. Each base shows a crossed-swords-type painted blue mark documented on scarce early Minton of the 1820s; simple impressed workman’s letters also present.

Rare and antique Regency pair-compact cabinet format, crisp detail and unusually complete floral decoration make this a strong, collection-grade early Minton. The White House’s historic services include Minton china, reflecting the company’s standing with major institutions.

Condition: very good antique condition; only minimal leaf/petal nicks on close look; both candle cups sound.
Dimensions: height 19.8 cm; base 9 × 8 cm; combined weight 751 g.
