The 8 day movement strikes the Westminster-Chime on the quarters and the hours.
Importantly, it strikes on steel rods, giving a very crisp, clear and resonating tone.
It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT facility and most unusually both the hours and quarters can be individually selected.
It has a silvered dial with black Roman numerals.
The golden oak case is beautifully polished and in pristine condition. It has a fully opening front door with astragal glazed, bevelled glass to the lower half.
As fine an example of this type of clock that one could wish to find.
