French bedside cabinets produced around 1930 often draw inspiration from eighteenth-century Louis XV revival styles. They feature slender cabriole legs, geometric kingwood or rosewood veneers, compact drawers, and brass pierced galleries around the top surface.

These pieces are constructed with a solid timber frame layered with decorative kingwood veneer arranged in parquetry patterns. Additional features include polished brass pierced rims, cast metal drawer knobs, and solid wood drawer linings.
