Scottish Georgian Mahogany Bookcase Circa 1795

18th century
Description

Fine Scottish George III Sheraton figured mahogany two part bookcase with shaped astrigal glazed door to top with boxwood line inlay with fine moulded cornice above, and pair matched panel doors to base also with boxwood lines. Standing on bracket feet. Three adjustable shelves to top and two to base. All in very fine original condition with hardly a blemish. Great rich colour with glowing waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE,

Size; 85" high, 49" wide, 17" deep. Shelf depth to top 10.5"
