Antique Art Deco 0.76ct Diamond and 14ct Yellow Gold Pendant Circa 1930

1920 - 1940
Sold by AC Silver
Description

A stunning, fine and impressive antique Art Deco 0.76 carat diamond, 14ct yellow gold and platinum set pendant; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique Art Deco pendant has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.

The segmented pierced decorated, fan-shaped Art Deco design is embellished with millegrain decoration.

The lower portion of the design is ornamented with an impressive feature individually collet set 0.46ct Old European cut diamond to the centre.

The pierced decorated setting is further ornamented with seventeen diamonds, in a combination of Old European, eight and Dutch cuts, all graduating in size dependant on location.

The hinged tapering drop to the upper portion bears a further pavé set diamond to the apex; this hinged articulation is a fine feature and indicates the high quality of the piece.

The platinum set Art Deco pendant design suspends from a 17.5" 18ct white gold chain via a ring loop to the reverse of the apex setting; the chain secures to the reverse with a push fit fastening and benefits from the added security of a hinged safety clip.

This antique diamond pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 14ct gold fineness mark (585) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct and platinum with an 18ct gold chain.

This impressive pendant is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

This Art Deco Old European cut diamond pendant is a captivating choice for style modern enthusiasts. This diamond pendant is ideal for milestone birthdays, anniversaries or as a deeply romantic and unforgettable gift.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone in this stunning example of antique diamond jewellery.

Condition

This stunning antique 1930s pendant is excellent quality, set with a stunning high colour graded feature diamond displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence.

The well colour matched supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
