A stunning vintage gold ring set with a large faceted purple amethyst set into a wide gold frame with beautiful Victorian-style scrolling-foliate chasing.

SIZE: M (UK), approximately 6 and a quarter (US). The face of the ring is 2 x 2.5cm and the amethyst is approx 1.5 x 1.1cm.

WEIGHT: 7.8g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Birmingham 1955.
