Enamel Inset Cased Silver Scent Bottle

Description

A rather unusual and very pretty late 19th century silver SCENT BOTTLE, inset to the lid with a charming enamel of a beautiful lady with flowers in her long auburn hair. The scent bottle is hand-engraved all over with scrollwork and it is complete with its original leather-covered case (showing a few signs of its age). Hallmarked for Birmingham 1892, makers: Hilliard & Thomason.
