Heavy Chinese Silver Snuff Box

Description

A heavy and beautifully cast early/mid-19th century Chinese silver SNUFF BOX profusely cast with intricate designs of leaves; trees; shrubs and scrolls, whilst the lid features an Oriental scene of various figures in a rural environment with pagoda-topped buildings behind and to one side. No hallmarks, apart from a maker’s mark of “LC” stamped inside the lid. Weight: 200grms.
