The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 20-jewel automatic movement, calibre 501, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 15,656,565 which dates it back to 1956.
The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the Omega winding crown and the lugs.
The case back is stamped Seamaster and Waterproof… as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which has aged to a nice tropical finish. Original hands, centre seconds hand and minute markers.
The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet which currently fits an 18cm wrist although there is capacity on the bracelet to make it around 1cm larger.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
