Description

A vintage Moroccan Berber door, with incised decoration of 'daisy wheels' within a latticework design, with a wooden bar lock mechanism, the cross supports attached with hand made iron nails.

The daisy wheel symbol, also known as a hexafoil, is a six-petaled flower shape formed by intersecting circles, often found as an apotropaic mark meant to ward off evil spirits or bad luck.
