Elegant Cased Set of Six Solid Silver Grapefruit Spoons by Josiah Williams & Co, London 1925

1900 - 1920
Description

This exquisite cased set of six silver grapefruit spoons is dated London 1925. Antique silver grapefruit spoons are not easily sourced and this is a beautiful set. Each spoon having a distinctive elongated bowl that is typical of grapefruit spoons. The terminals with a ribbon-tied bluebell design. Fitted in their original Morocco leather case, the interior lined with cream satin and blue velvet.

London Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "k" for 1925.

Length: 13.5cm / 5.3 inches.

Bowl length: 5cm.

Bowl width: 2cm / 0.6 inches

Maker's marks rubbed but one identifiable mark.
