A Bloor period Derby porcelain tea cup and saucer in the London shape. Decorated with a running border of a gilded grape vine, with gilt bunches of grapes, enamelled leaves in shades of green and ornamented with superbly painted pink cabbage roses. Gilt rims and stripe down the handle. Red marks to the bases, c.1820.
The cup measures 5.7cm (2 1/4'') high to the rim and 9.1cm (3 9/16'') rim to rim. The saucer measures 14.4cm (5 5/8'') wide and 3.2cm (1 1/8'') high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
